Note: This is a first draft prepared to reflect the actual data practices of Breadcrumb Reflections as currently specified. It is written to be thorough and protective given the sensitive, personal nature of what this app collects — but it is not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney before launch. Bracketed items marked [ ] need a decision or a real value filled in.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Breadcrumb Reflections, operated by EJDH Enterprises, LLC. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Breadcrumb Reflections is a reflection companion app built around the Following God’s Breadcrumbs™ book and future titles in the same platform. It includes free chapter-based reflections and paid tools (the Reflection & Integration Suite) available through a one-time per-volume purchase or an annual All-Access Pass.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
One account is intended for one individual’s personal use; accounts should not be shared.
Notify us immediately at [support email] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Payments, Billing & Cancellation

Volume Unlock: a one-time purchase of $24.99 grants permanent access to that volume’s Reflection & Integration Suite.
All-Access Pass: $39.99 per year, billed annually, granting access to every volume’s Suite — current and future — for the duration of your active subscription.
The All-Access Pass renews automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
Refunds — Volume Unlock: available within 7 days of purchase, as long as the Reflection & Integration Suite for that volume has not been substantially used.
Refunds — All-Access Pass: available within 7 days of your initial purchase only. Annual renewals are final and not eligible for a refund; cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next year.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information.

5. Your Content

You own what you write. Your chapter reflections, Timeline entries, Map entries, Challenge responses, and Divine Extension declaration belong to you. We store them to provide the App’s functionality and do not claim ownership over your personal writing, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond providing the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The book content, reflection prompts, discussion guides, the Breadcrumbs Method™, and the Following God’s Breadcrumbs™ name and mark remain the property of Elizabeth J. Harris and EJDH Enterprises, LLC, and may not be copied, redistributed, or used to create a competing product.

6. A Note on What This App Is — and Isn’t

Breadcrumb Reflections is a personal reflection and journaling tool grounded in faith. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact a crisis line or mental health professional — in the US, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Do not attempt to access another user’s account or reflections.
Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute the App’s content or code.
Do not impersonate another person when creating an account.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, though we take the security measures described in the Privacy Policy seriously.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EJDH Enterprises, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

Note: This is standard-form limitation-of-liability language used by most consumer apps and SaaS products. It still deserves a quick attorney read before launch — not because it’s unusual, but because Missouri-specific enforceability and the exact dollar cap are the kind of details a lawyer should confirm rather than a first draft.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users before they take effect.
