EJDH Enterprises, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Breadcrumb Reflections (the “App”), a companion app to the Following God’s Breadcrumbs™ book and platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and — because so much of what you write here is personal — the specific steps we take to protect it.

1. What We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted, hashed form — we never see or store your actual password).

Content you create: chapter reflections, Breadcrumb Timeline entries, Breadcrumb Map entries, 7-Day Challenge responses, and your My Divine Extension declaration. This is the most sensitive information the App holds, and it is treated accordingly — see Section 3.

Payment information: when you purchase a volume unlock or an All-Access Pass, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card number. We retain a record that a purchase was made, its date, and its status (active, expired, refunded).

Basic technical information: things like browser type and general usage patterns (e.g., which volume you opened), collected only to keep the App working correctly and to understand which features are actually being used. We do not use invasive tracking or sell this information to advertisers.

2. How We Use What We Collect

• To provide the App itself — saving your reflections, tracking your progress, and remembering where you left off.
• To process payments and manage your access to paid content.
• To communicate with you about your account, purchases, or changes to the App (not marketing, unless you separately opt in).
• To fix bugs and improve the App.
• We do not read, review, or analyze the content of your personal reflections for any purpose — including marketing, research, or AI training — without your explicit, separate consent.

3. How We Protect Your Information

Because this App holds writing about grief, trauma, and faith — not just account settings — we hold it to a higher security standard than a typical app:

• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest in our database.
• Database-level access rules ensure your reflections are readable only by your account — not just hidden by the app’s design, but blocked at the database itself.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal reflections with any third party, for any reason, at any time.
• Our staff do not access individual users’ reflections except when required to provide you technical support you have specifically requested, or where required by law.

4. Third Parties We Work With

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the App, each of whom only receives the minimum information needed to do their job:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs the payment information they handle directly.
• [Hosting/database provider] — secure storage of account and reflection data.

We do not use these providers’ data for advertising, and we do not permit them to use your data beyond providing their service to us.

5. Your Choices and Rights

• You may access, edit, or delete your reflections at any time within the App.
• You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [support email]. We will delete the underlying data, not merely hide it, within [30] days of a verified request.
• You may request a copy of the data associated with your account.
• If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion; contact us to exercise these rights.

6. Children’s Privacy

Breadcrumb Reflections is intended for adults. The App is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under this age, we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify active users by email and update the effective date above before the changes take effect.
